Amelio's

Last night my roommate Sarah and I took our friend Jessie to Amelio's, Montreal's best pizza place. It's this little hole-in-the-wall joint, and an old man that makes these kick ass pizzas. It's also BYO (wine) and they don't charge a corking fee. They don't take reservations so it's always painful to wait while smelling pizza but it's worth it. It was amazing. It was our last night out with Jessie before she moves back to Toronto (sob). Afterward we went to her friend's party that he was having in his studio and listened to the band play. Not really my thing, but it was fun anyway. And it was snowing like mad when we left. Something about snow at 2AM makes me happy.

Oh dude...I love Amelio's...have a pizza for me next time you go. Or maybe you can ship it to Vancouver. Can you ship me the cozy atmosphere too? :) Man, I'm jealous...

snow at 2am is amazing! It is even better if you are the only one on the street and it is completely void of all the noises that remind you that you are in a city. The only sound is your feet crunching the layer of snow under the orange glow of the street lights. It has to be snowing big, fat flakes too. ahhhhh. (I knew hearing the song "My Favourite Things" while reading your blog was not a good thing.)

"My Favourite Things" as in the Sound of Music song? What are you listening to?

that was a joke...my entry started to sound like that song. "The Sound of Music" is for girls and "pretty boys". I'm off to build something out of metal, chug a beer and crush the empty can on my forehead.
