Sydney

Heya everyone. I'm in Sydney now...haven't yet experienced it, just checking in before getting a bite to eat. Tasmania was so beautiful. Very green with rolling hills and mountains. We had sunshine every day, even though it was quite cold (5 degrees). I stayed on a farm -- Sam's mom's place -- and it was beautiful. They have chickens and ducks and a few angus cows (those are the black ones) and two beautiful collie dogs. The house is being renovated. It's a massive old farmhouse that they want to turn into a B&B eventually. They're on their way but have a lot of work to do.

Thursday I helped Diane upgrade one of computers (yay!) but I also got a tour of the cheese factory where she works, so I got to see how the cheese was made from start to finish. Pretty cool. But also very stinky. And night times were spent with wine in the livingroom, chatting. Very relaxing.

I'm off to find some food in this huge Sydney. I've asked three guys in my dorm room if they've found good food and they all said no, so hopefully I'll find some. Hope you're all well. xox
