F%@! it's cold

It's frickin' cold out, and it's only -10. I'm not prepared for the -30 that's coming in a couple of months. I haven't had a full proper Canadian winter since I was 20 (7 years ago) and I'm not happy about having one this year, in this City of Frozen Hell. I walk to work for 30-40 minutes and the wind just blasts & swirls like you're in some kind of snow-tornado. I wonder if that could happen? A tornado of snow? Anyone kno? Everyone wears their scarves up to their noses and their hoods pulled down so you just see eyes peaking out. But at least it's bright and sunny, when it's not snowing like mofo.

Ate pumpkin pie last night with some American friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. And then went to see Harry Potter. Great special fx, but it was really really dark -- they left out any highlights and just made the whole move about the somber bits.
