I made it back alive! 5 days of camping and surfing...very fun. Very humbling. I suck and I'm scared of the big waves, but oh well...i still had a great time. I met a heap of great people too, from all over the world. I developed a bad cold though so I am taking today off and just resting and doing laundry.
I'm in Byron Bay...very cool little hippie/surf town with beautiful weather. Sunny and nice and warm.
Tomorrow I'm on a bus for 9 hours to get me up near the largest sand island in the world - Fraser Island. I'll 4WD there and snorkel in their "crystal clear lakes".
